Kathleen Bishop, Kaplan University, FL, USAI have worked for 11 years as Adjunct Faculty at Purdue University Global (formerly Kaplan University) in the Health Sciences Department teaching Introduction to Health Sciences. I also work as Adjunct Faculty at Palm Beach State College teaching medical transcription in the Health Sciences Department. I have written the curriculum for the medical transcription program at PBSC and the CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine) curriculum for Everglades University in Boca Raton, FL.
I am a Zen Buddhist priest involved in our Prison Ministry Program in the State of Florida. I write a monthly newsletter for our 500 participants on living a Buddhist life “behind the fence.” Plus I visit some of the prisons on a regular basis to teach classes and officiate at the services. Great session that discussed the practical considerations for setting up a blog. It inspired participants to become bloggers and provided the tools to do just that.
