Session Description
Digital badges are an effective way to recognize microlearning among learners. This presentation will demonstrate the use of metadata when designing and distributing digital badges. Attendees will observe the process of creating a digital badge in Credly and distributing the badge to an individual in LinkedIn. The roles of issuant, recipient, consumer will be discussed. Instructions will be provided to attendees so that they make create digital badges and award microcredentials to others.
