Instructional Design for Conceptual Understanding: A Framework for Selecting Interactive Mathematical Applications

Session Description
With widespread availability of technology in the classroom but a lack of implementation to support the development of conceptual understanding among mathematics students, a framework has been designed based on theoretical and practical considerations of instructional design and mathematics to assist teachers in analyzing, comparing, and selecting interactive applications for inquiry-based mathematics instruction.
