The Art of the Case Study Presentation

Session Description
The Art of the Case Study is a description of an active learning assignment for undergraduate nursing students. After each student writes their own 2-6 page paper on their approved, self-chosen perinatal emergency topic, a related real or hypothetical OB or neonatal case study will be developed and presented in a 5-10 minute video, by groups of 2-3 students; or students may choose to work alone. Students will pick a topic from an approved list, so that not more than one group will cover a specific topic. The videos are viewed by the whole class.
